Summer in Turracher Höhe

During the summer, Turracher Höhe in Nockberge National Park is the perfect spot for hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers of all ages. Thanks to the high sunshine hours and pollen-free altitude, the TURM2 villa is a perfect and healthy base for a range of sporting activities. The sign-posted routes lead you for kilometres along lakes and alpine huts, through woods and over mountaintops.

The Nockalmstraße, a beautiful route through Nockberge National Park, begins slightly south of Turrach. Moreover, for speed lovers there is the Nocky Flitzer, a toboggan run no less than 1600 metres long. The starting point is easy to reach with the Panorama lift. An 18-hole golf course is located 20 kilometres away in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The village is also home to two thermal spas. In addition to all the sports activities, a day of relaxation in the villa, which is equipped with every convenience, is certainly no hardship. Relax in the sauna and whirlpool bath or read a book quietly beside the fire.

The smaller shops and many restaurants are all within walking distance of the villa in the mountain village. The crystal-clear Turrachsee is located centrally in this charming village. A number of lower altitude villages and lakes, including the Millstätter See, provide perfect activities during the summer months. Larger towns, including Murau, Villach and Klagenfurt beside the Wörthersee are within an hour's drive.
